Director of Information and Information Technology Appointed
The Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority (the Authority) is pleased to announce the appointment of John Pinard as Director of Information and Information Technology effective today.
“John’s extensive experience in information technology systems design and implementation as well as vendor management will be invaluable in ensuring the successful development and implementation of the Authority’s Registry during the start-up phase of the organization,” said Frank Denton, CEO of the Authority.
Mr. Pinard was most recently Director of Research and Advisory with Info-Tech Research Group, an information technology research and advisory group. Previously, he was Senior Director of Information Systems with Chartwell Retirement Residences, Canada’s largest seniors home operator, and Head of Information Technology with Purdue Pharma Canada, an international pharmaceutical manufacturer.
“John’s understanding of leading edge developments in information systems and technologies and his strategic approach to vendor management will immeasurably strengthen the Authority’s executive management team as the organization develops the technology infrastructure required to fulfill its mandate,” added Mr. Denton.
