Authority Releases Draft Program Agreement for an Amended Blue Box Program Plan for Consultation
The Waste Diversion Transition Act, 2016 (WDTA) requires that a Program Agreement between the Authority and Stewardship Ontario be included in an amended Blue Box Program Plan. The Program Agreement governs the role of Stewardship Ontario in the operation of the program and the exercise of Stewardship Ontario’s powers under the WDTA.
Read the draft Program Agreement, which includes an introduction by the Authority. The Authority is looking for feedback on the draft Program Agreement. Written comments can be sent to consultations@rpra.ca until January 15, 2018.
The Authority will also present the draft Program Agreement as part of Stewardship Ontario’s Phase 2 Consultation on the amended Blue Box Program Plan. The webinar will take place on January 8, 2018. To register, click here.
