Director of Communications and Stakeholder Relations Appointed
The Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority (RPRA) is pleased to announce Wilson Lee has been appointed to our senior leadership team, effective today.
Wilson joins the organization as Director, Communications and Stakeholder Relations and will be responsible for developing and implementing RPRA’s communications strategy, providing strategic advice to the Board and senior management, managing external communications with stakeholders and the media, and acting as RPRA’s primary point of contact with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change.
Wilson joins us with an extensive career in strategic communications, public policy, advocacy and government relations. In his previous role at the Technical Standards and Safety Authority, he successfully led the Stakeholder Relations Department responsible for strategic communications, media relations, advocacy, issues management, public policy and government relations.
The Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority is dedicated to delivering on our new mandate under the Waste-free Ontario Act, 2016. We are an integral, committed partner in transforming Ontario to a circular economy through the development of a data registry, overseeing producer performance, and guiding producers to compliance within this new environment.
