RPRA Board Chair, Robert Poirier, appointed to the Order of Ontario

RPRA congratulates Board Chair, Robert Poirier, for his appointment to the Order of Ontario. Robert joins a diverse group of exceptional Ontarians who are honoured each year for their leadership, dedication, and contributions to their respective fields.

Robert is being recognized as a 2021 Order of Ontario appointee because of his ongoing commitment to shaping a more environmentally sustainable province. Robert’s list of accomplishments includes his past role as chair of the Toronto Port Authority’s board of directors, where he played an important role in making Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport one of the most environmentally friendly urban airports across the continent.

More recently in his role as chair of RPRA’s board of directors, Robert provides leadership and guidance to support Ontario’s shift to a circular economy.
