The remaining linage for the 2023 InKind Program year is now available on our website. The remaining linage allocated to InKind programs for the 2023 program year must be used by March 31, 2024.

Important changes that may impact InKind Program participants

In the summer of 2023, Metroland Media Group (MMG) announced that they will be restructuring their operations. This change impacts several local community print publishing and advertising/flyer distribution operations, with many of them ceasing operation almost immediately.

The Ontario Community Newspaper Association (OCNA) and News Media Canada (NMC) are currently reviewing how best to ensure that municipalities can utilize any remaining linage allocated to Metroland’s community newspapers.
