New billing and payment features launched in RPRA’s registry
RPRA has introduced new billing and payment features in the registry to simplify processes and provide more user-friendly options for registrants. These enhancements are based on feedback from registrants collected through surveys, workshops, and direct input over the past few years.
What’s new
Key new features include:
- Ability to view all unpaid invoices and pay at once
- Pre-authorized automatic payments for manifests, known as Manifest AutoPay
- Ability to pay multiple invoices in one transaction
- Improved direct debit and credit card functionality which enables registrants to pay invoices with ease in the registry
- Enhanced invoice design and improved visibility of a credit memo
- Ability to request refunds through the registry
- New and updated automated emails related to payments
New bank account details for paying invoices using EDI/EFT
RPRA’s bank account details used for EDI/EFT payments have changed. The updated banking information will be included on all invoices going forward and is also available in the registry under the Invoices and Payments tab.
Help with using the new features
RPRA has updated its learning resources to reflect the changes in the registry and support registrants with the new functionality. This includes:
- Updated and new FAQs related to paying fees to RPRA
- Updated work instructions for the Hazardous Waste Program
- Updated walk through guides for the Excess Soil Program
- Plus, updates to other materials will be available in the near future, such as supply reporting guides for producer responsibility programs
Additionally, RPRA is planning to host a Learning Series Event webinar in early 2026 that will provide a detailed overview of the billing and payment enhancements followed by a live Q&A. Stay tuned for registration details.
What’s coming
- New AP user role: A dedicated Accounts Payable (AP) user that can manage its company’s billing and payments activities in the registry.
- Late payment fees: Beginning in 2026, late fees will apply to unpaid invoices. RPRA invoices are due upon receipt.
More information will be shared before these changes take effect.
