RPRA’s Registry updated with 2026 management requirement for flexible plastics

2026 management requirements for producers of flexible plastics have now been updated in RPRA’s Registry. The updated management requirements reflect the amounts that producers were asked to manually calculate following amendments to the Blue Box Regulation that took effect September 3, 2025.

Action required for producers of flexible plastics

To ensure the updated management requirement in the registry is correct, producers of flexible plastics should complete the following:

1. Log into your registry account
2. Navigate to the Blue Box homepage
3. View your 2025 supply report summary
4. Review and confirm that the 2026 management requirement amount matches the management requirement amount from the manual calculator
   • If there is a discrepancy of greater than 2 kilograms between the amount shown in your account and the amount you determined using the manual calculator, please notify us by emailing [email protected]
5. If you have not done so already, we recommend notifying your PRO of your updated 2026 management requirement for flexible plastics
