Massachusetts-based food-waste tech provider Divert has introduced the Food Waste Legislative Tracker, a tool that monitors food-waste legislation across the US, Puerto Rico, and Washington, DC. The tool is a Google Sheet that provides details on the status and progress of food-waste bills and their legislative sponsors. Developed in collaboration with the Zero Food Waste Coalition and Harvard Law School’s Food Law and Policy Clinic, the tracker aims to keep stakeholders informed and facilitate engagement with food policy. The company’s technology is used by nearly 7,000 stores and processes 465 million pounds of food waste annually. Read more about Divert’s Food Waste Legislative Tracker.
