McDonald’s UK is taking plastic off the menu

Starting in September, UK McDonald’s restaurants will no longer be using plastic lids on their McFlurry ice cream treats. The fast-food chain is also swapping out their plastic salad bowls for paperboard ones. See the new packaging.
