Plastic isn’t just polluting the oceans

As the University of Toronto found, plastic pollution is affecting the Great Lakes. Roughly 22 million pounds of plastic is discarded into the five North American lakes. Research into plastic pollution in the Great Lakes is relatively new, but is gaining momentum.
