The Ellen MacArthur Foundation has launched the Fashion ReModel initiative at The Global Fashion Summit in Copenhagen to promote circular economy practices in the fashion industry. Participating brands, including Arc’teryx, Reformation, Zalando, Primark, and H&M Group, will trial business models such as resale, repair, rental, upcycling, and customization. The initiative aims to gather insights on scaling these models and share findings with policymakers. Despite previous tests by some brands, the industry still largely relies on selling new products. The initiative seeks to redefine industry norms and extend the lifespan of clothing. Read more about the Fashion ReModel initiative.
