Sustainability company Novoloop begins constructing chemical recycling plant to break down polyethylene
California-based company Novoloop has begun construction on a pilot plant in India to demonstrate its chemical recycling technology for producing thermoplastic polyurethane. Novoloop’s proprietary process, known as Accelerated Thermal Oxidative Decomposition, breaks down polyethylene into chemical building blocks that can be synthesized into high-value products. This form of chemical upcycling converts low-value waste into high-value materials. Read more about the chemical recycling plant.
