Sustainable fashion collection upcycles men’s suit fabric using algorithms and digital software
Designer Julie Pelipas is bringing her upcycling brand, Bettter, to Browns for a special collaboration featuring a capsule collection of 26 pieces. The collection, made with deadstock fabric from men’s suits, features items are crafted from upcycled fabrics. Bettter’s upcycling system uses algorithms to deconstruct suits and get around the complexity of upcycling tailoring, by deconstructing suits seam by seam and using digital software to create virtual patterns and make adjustments.
