Administrative Penalties Regulation Approved Under the Waste Diversion Transition Act, 2016
The Government of Ontario has approved the Administrative Penalties Regulation under the Waste Diversion Transition Act, 2016. The regulation came into effect on Friday, November 3, 2017.
The regulation gives the Authority the ability to issue administrative penalties to help oversee the operation and wind-up of existing waste diversion programs.
