Stewardship Ontario’s consultations on the Blue Box Program Wind-up postponed
Due to COVID-19, Stewardship Ontario (SO) has postponed its April 7 and 8 webinars to consult on the development of its plan to wind up the Blue Box Program. SO will provide notification when the webinars are rescheduled. SO will still be posting consultation materials early next week for review. In August 2019, the Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks issued direction to RPRA and SO to begin transitioning the management of Ontario’s Blue Box Program to producers of plastic and other packaging.
