The Batteries and Electronics Registry is now open!

The Authority continues to deliver on its requirements under the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act, 2016 by launching the Batteries, ITT/AV and Lighting Registry. This marks the second, third and fourth portal builds, following the Tires Registry that launched in 2018.

“The Registry plays a key role in supporting our registrants and compliance functions. The Registry offers our registrants a secure and user-friendly tool to house their information submitted to the Authority, while providing our Compliance and Registry Team with accurate data.” said Mary Cummins, Deputy Registrar.

The deadline for producers of batteries and ITT/AV to complete their 2021 Supply Data report is September 30, 2021. Submitting the annual Supply Report is important for determining producers’ 2022 management requirement and is part of their obligation under the Electrical and Electronic Equipment and Batteries Regulations. Visit the Registry here.
