RPRA finalizes policy to increase transparency
RPRA has finalized a new policy that will enhance transparency by outlining a process for the public to make formal requests for clarifications about the Authority’s activities and decisions.
The new Formal Public Complaints and Requests for Clarifications Policy applies to the Authority’s activities and decisions including its publications, guidance documents, policies, and bulletins. The policy, however, does not apply to compliance or enforcement decisions, which may be appealed to the Ontario Land Tribunal, or matters that were part of a consultation process.
