RPRA launches consultation on the development of the Hazardous and Special Products Supply Data Verification Procedure

RPRA is consulting on its draft Hazardous and Special Products (HSP) Supply Data Verification Procedure from Wednesday, June 1 to Wednesday, July 6, 2022. RPRA is consulting on the procedure so those required to reference it, such as producers, PROs, and their verifiers, have an opportunity to provide feedback during the development process.

Producers of oil filters, oil containers, antifreeze, solvents, paints and coatings, pesticides, and non-refillable and refillable pressurized containers will reference the procedure when submitting their first Supply Data Verification Report to RPRA in 2022.

RPRA is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, June 15 from 10:00 to 11:30 am to discuss the proposed principles and methodologies used in the draft procedure.

Those directly affected are encouraged to submit feedback on the draft procedure to consultations@rpra.ca by July 6, 2022. RPRA will consider all feedback received during the consultation period when finalizing the procedure.
