HSP processor list for the 2023 performance period now posted
As of January 1, 2023, producers, or PROs on their behalf, can rely on hazardous and special products (HSP) processors listed on RPRA’s website to meet their management requirements that start in 2023. The list will be updated as required.
If you have contracted with a processor who is not on the HSP processor list, contact the Compliance and Registry Team at registry@rpra.ca or call 1-833-600-0530.
Next steps for producers with a PRO
It is recommended that you confirm with your PRO that they have contracted with a processor on the list. This is a requirement under the HSP Regulation. Although you have contracted with a PRO, it is still your responsibility to ensure you meet your requirements under the Regulation.
Next steps for PROs and producers with their own collection and management networks
For the 2023 to 2025 performance period, producers, or PROs on behalf of producers, who are meeting management obligations with resources recovered from processing may only do so with an HSP processor that is listed on RPRA’s website.
