Background
RPRA’s Hazardous Waste Program (HWP) Registry replaces the HWIN (Hazardous Waste Information Network) system previously operated by the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks and includes an online reporting portal and electronic manifesting solution, including the HazTrack mobile app. The new system ends the use of paper manifests and enables the regulated community to report on their waste management activities electronically.
The RPRA HazTrack mobile app, which you can download on the Apple App Store or Google Play, was developed to allow carriers (and their drivers) and receivers participating in Ontario’s Hazardous Waste Program (HWP) to:
- View and sign manifests
- Create new manifests
- Complete manifests
- Including accepting or refusing wastes
- Make corrections to the manifest
