RPRA releases 2024 Annual Report, compliance activity data, resource recovery reports, and registrant survey results

RPRA’s 2024 Annual Report is available now in English and French.

The report captures key activities accomplished in 2024 in compliance, data analytics, communications, and service delivery, as well as financial performance and audited financial statements from 2024.

What’s on the Compliance Activities page 

  • Key data for producer responsibility programs such as:
    • number of inspections opened and closed
    • potential free riders who were either brought into compliance or determined to be not obligated
    • supply report submission rates
    • number of interactions between frontline staff and registrants
    • number of registered producers and PROs in each program
  • Downloadable Excel with historical data

What’s on the Resource Recovery Reports page 

  • Updated resource recovery requirements and supplied tonnes reported in 2024 for all producer responsibility programs – batteries, Blue Box, electronics, hazardous and special products, lighting, and tires
  • Downloadable Excel with historical data for each program

What’s on the Registrant Survey page

  • Results from RPRA’s 2024 registrant survey in areas such as reputation, performance, interactions, consultations, reporting and fees
