2024 batteries, electronics and lighting resource recovery data now posted
RPRA has posted the following data reported to RPRA in 2025:
- 2024 supply of single-use batteries,
- 2023 supply of rechargeable batteries, electronics and lighting, and
- 2024 collection and recovery data of batteries, electronics and lighting.

- Supply from 2018 – 2024 (single-use), 2018 – 2023 (rechargeable)
- Recovery requirement reductions applicable to 2018 – 2024 (single-use), 2018 – 2023 (rechargeable) supply data
- Recovered from July 1, 2020 – December 31, 2024
- Resource recovery requirements from 2020 – 2026
- Supply from 2018 – 2023
- Recovery requirement reductions applicable to 2018 – 2022 supply
- Recovered from 2021 – 2024
- Resource recovery requirements from 2021 – 2026
- Supply from 2018 – 2023
- Recovery requirement reductions applicable to 2018 – 2022 supply

With this update, RPRA enhanced the way data is presented to show recovery data by registrant group (producer or PROs on their behalf, PRO and service providers) to give a more transparent and complete picture of the data reported to RPRA. These changes have also been applied to historical data.
