RPRA’s Registry is now open for supply and performance reporting for batteries, ITT/AV, and lighting

RPRA’s Registry is now open for supply and performance reporting for batteries, information technology, telecommunications, and audio-visual (ITT/AV) equipment and lighting.

Producers, PROs, processors, haulers, and refurbishers must submit an annual performance report. Producers are also required to submit an annual supply report and pay the 2026 program fee*. All reports are submitted online through RPRA’s Registry.

*Note: Starting in 2026, ITT/AV producers will have a fee holiday and will not be required to pay program fees when submitting their supply report.

The deadline for battery, ITT/AV and lighting supply and performance reporting is April 30, 2026. However, RPRA is delaying some audit and verification requirements in 2026 – see below for more details.

Important reminders for 2026 reporting

  • Performance audit report:
    • RPRA is delaying the requirement for producers and PROs of batteries, ITT/AV, and lighting to submit a performance audit report. This decision was made because RPRA is in the process of finalizing its registry procedures for performance audit reporting.
    • Producers and PROs will be required to submit their first performance audit report at a later time, to be confirmed in consultation with PROs, and in accordance with the finalized procedure.
  • Supply data verification report:
    • RPRA is delaying the requirement for batteries and ITT/AV producers to submit a supply verification report due to an ongoing consultation on proposed updates to the cut-off thresholds that determine if a producer is considered large or small for supply data verification.
      • Producers who meet the “large producer” threshold in the finalized procedure will be required to submit a supply data verification report by June 30, 2026. Small producers are not required to submit a verification report but will be subject to inspections.
    • Large lighting producers (producers with an average supply weight of 90,000 kg or higher) will be required to submit a supply data verification report by April 30, 2026 in accordance with the EEE Verification and Audit Procedure (Appendix C – Lighting Supply Data Verification).
