Researchers at Swansea University have demonstrated a novel way in which microalgae (microscopic photosynthetic cells found in oceans and lakes) can remediate organic waste.  According to the new study, microalgae cultures can grow and produce biomass that is suitable for use as animal feed, which can close the circular economy loop for industrial applications. This can potentially create thousands of sustainable jobs in the process. Here’s how.
