Nations endorse global treaty to combat plastic waste

Leaders, Ministers of environment and other representatives from 175 nations have endorsed a resolution at the UN Environment Assembly to end plastic pollution. The resolution addresses the full lifecycle of plastic, including its production, design, and disposal with the goal of prioritizing reusable materials and minimizing waste.
