The UK implements Plastic Packaging Tax
The UK is implementing a new Plastic Packaging Tax (PPT) starting on April 1, 2022, that would affect UK manufacturers, importers, and consumers who buy plastic packaging or goods in plastic packaging in the UK. The tax is only applicable to plastic packaging that does not contain at least 30% recycled plastic.
