Merrell launches ReTread to upcycle used shoes
Merrell, an outdoor store, has launched their ReTread pilot program, a shoe takeback and recycling initiative that aims to prevent over 600,000 shoes from going into the trash by 2025. Merrell invites customers to ship their used shoes for free, where they can be repaired and refurbished for resale, upcycled into new Merrell products, or recycled for other purposes. Learn more.
