Saharan refugee camp starts recycling centre

Sahara desert landscape

The Sahara Desert spans nearly all of Northern Africa, but near the western border of Algeria lies a refugee camp hosting tens of thousands of people that rely on humanitarian aid. Read about how the refugees operate the recycling centre to process plastic waste to make new products such as school desks, benches, chairs and more.
