A cabin made from recycled plastic bottles?

A cabin in Saskatchewan has been made from hundreds of thousands of upcycled plastic water bottles. The 1,300-square-foot home features a closed-cell high-density foam structure manufactured from plastic bottles that had been shredded, melted, and blown into sheets. This new material is moisture-resistant and acts as insulation, meaning homes built from this material do not require additional insulation, shingles, or siding. Read more.
