New report highlights food waste in Canada

A report by Second Harvest has found that 58% of all food produced in Canada, or 35.5 million tonnes, is lost or wasted. The report found that the total value of food that is lost or wasted is $49 billion. Read the CBC’s highlights of the Second Harvest report.
