Optimizing the material from used coffee capsules

Altstoff Recycling Austria AG, together with the Austrian Coffee Association and leading coffee producers, is optimizing the material from used coffee capsules to make new products. The pilot project collects the used capsules and recycles the aluminum into products such as bicycles, beverage cans, or new capsules, the plastic into items such as garden furniture and watering cans, and the used coffee grounds into biogas.
