New Brunswick hopes to expand their glass recycling program

New Brunswick’s glass recycling program only began in 2020. Before that, all glass jars and containers ended up in a landfill. According to the government,  the program has been able to divert 101 tonnes of glass from landfill since 2020. Initially, the province and 31 private recycling facilities began the collecting process, but the government hopes to increase that to 70 redemption centres. Read more.
