Read the WCEF 2022 Summary Report
The World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) was hosted for the first time in Africa in Kigali, Rwanda. The 2022 Forum brought together 4,167 participants from 149 countries to discuss how Africa can contribute to a global circular economy. The participants launched several plans and agreements, such as the Global Circular Economy Roadmap Initiative and the Rwanda Circular Economy Roadmap and Action Plan, with a 211-million-dollar funding programme.
