Apple relaxes its grip on replacement parts
In a move seen as a win for the fix-it movement, Apple has announced it will make it easier for previously unauthorized repair shops to access replacement parts required to fix a new or past-warranty Apple product. The company has started testing the program in 20 shops in North America, Europe and Asia. Read more here.
