Starbucks expands their bring-your-own reusable drink cup options to drive-thru and app orders
Starbucks is expanding its reusable cup option to drive-thru and app orders, aiming to reduce waste from disposable cups. Previously available only for in-person cafe orders since 1985, customers can now use personal cups for drive-thru by informing baristas during the ordering process. In the Starbucks app, a “personal cup” option is added for customization, with customers receiving drinks in a larger “contactless vessel” mug.
