Kenyan government conducts training on end-of-life office equipment refurbishment to reduce e-waste

The Kenyan government is holding educational forums to train government officers on managing electronic waste. Spearheaded by the Information and Communication Technology Authority, the initiative encourages refurbishment of obsolete office equipment instead of disposal. The National Refurbishment, Assembly, and E-waste Management Programme has already collected 15,000 pieces of office equipment for refurbishment, with plans to expand across the country.
