Re Sustainability and Sharrp Ventures are partnering to launch a groundbreaking Plastics Circularity Initiative in Hyderabad and Raipur, India. The project aims to supply high-quality recycled polyolefins to the fast-moving consumer goods sector. By recycling 32,000 tonnes of plastic waste annually and cutting 15,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions, the initiative plans to produce over 9,000 tonnes of premium recycled polymers each year. The initiative also emphasizes social impact, aiming to create over 370 direct jobs, with a focus on women and engaging local communities in waste segregation and recycling.
