Environmental stewardship organization facilitating agricultural plastic recycling
Farmers in Canada depend on a variety of products to support them with their extensive agricultural tasks, including specialized items for wrapping, storage and distribution. These items are often made with plastic, and with the introduction of new extended producer responsibility programs, there is a growing need to manage this type of waste when it is discarded. Cleanfarms, a producer responsibility organization, manages the recycling and proper disposal of end-of-life agricultural plastics as well as unwanted chemicals and medications used on farms. Cleanfarms works with their members, partner organizations, and governments to help facilitate the recycling and recovery of resources that would otherwise end up in landfills. Learn more.
