National Geographic together with Call2Recycle has developed an online curriculum designed to encourage recycling and teach students about the circular economy. Students in grades 6 to 8 can engage in 3 activities that brainstorm the origin and fate of raw materials, analyze real-world examples of circular economies in contrast with linear economies, and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the circular economy. Read about the activities and resources to equip students with the tools and knowledge to preserve the environment.
