5 ways shopping for clothes can become more sustainable

Environmental group WRAP is calling on brands to implement more circular business models for sustainable fashion, like clothes-rental schemes and upcycling of used clothing. After conducting a study based on more than 2,000 interviews with UK citizens, WRAP estimates that UK’s wardrobes contain 118 clothing items per person. While consumers are keeping their clothing for longer, they have more items to choose from meaning that they use them less.
