A library that lends tools and appliances, not books
The town of Banff in Alberta is testing out a pilot project involving a Library of Things, where residents can sign out items from screwdrivers to sewing machines for free. Banff’s Library of Things has become popular as residents can borrow items they need instead of buying, storing, and eventually discarding them.
