Aluminium foil replacement developed for flexible packaging applications
Flex Films, an Indian manufacturing company has unveiled a replacement for aluminum foil for flexible packaging applications. The alternative is a bi-axially oriented polyester high barrier film that is FDA compliant and can be used to cover a wide array of food and pharmaceutical products over long distances. The new manufactured alternative has many benefits including generating less scrap during production, is more resistant to punctures, and is easier to recycle. Read more.
