Apple takes a major step towards the growing right-to-repair movement

Apple announced that starting next year they will allow users to make small repairs and fixes to their iPhones and laptops. The company previously authorized independent repair shops to fix devices but will now sell spare parts, tools, and manuals directly to consumers.
