Breakthrough waste recovery technology “Juno” aims for 90% landfill diversion rate

Juno Technology, a wet processing system created by American pulp and paper company Georgia-Pacific, is being tested out in a 12-week pilot project to reclaim contaminated fiber. By separating, sanitizing, and washing fiber contaminated with food and other organic debris, it can divert more metals and plastics back into the recycling system and turn organics into biogas.
