Canada wants to cut garbage output in half

The country’s environment ministers made the commitment at a recent meeting, pledging to cut the amount of garbage produced by 50% by 2040. The ministers also unanimously agreed to work together on a plan to have Canada produce zero plastic waste. Read more about the pledge.
