Changing the watchmaking industry by recycling metals from old watches

Precycling is a centre in Switzerland that recycles a wide variety of materials and products, but more recently has begun dissembling and recycling watch components.  The facility recycles a wide variety of metals such as gold, silver, titanium, and steel. Steel is widely used in the watchmaking industry and as recycled components become more available, it gives hope to watchmakers to move toward a more sustainable and ecological watchmaking industry.
