Circular Monday, a global campaign founded in 2017 as a counteraction to Black Friday, promotes the circular economy by encouraging consumers to shift from being consumers to “circulants” and reduce consumption-based emissions. Organized by start-up ClimateHero, the campaign involves over 1,200 companies, organizations, and influencers across 30 countries. The participants offer “circular try-out discounts” on reused items, rental and sharing services, and repairs, making it easy for consumers to find circular alternatives to conventional goods and services.
