City of Toronto publishes their project report for Baselining for a Circular Toronto

In 2016, Toronto City Council adopted an aspirational goal of zero waste and a circular economy and directed City staff to develop a strategy and policy framework to make Toronto the first circular city in Ontario. As a first step, the City studied the current level of circularity in Toronto through Baselining for a Circular Toronto. The study proposes a vision for what a circular Toronto could look like, highlights opportunities for advancing the circular economy in key sectors, and provides circular economy goals to guide Toronto’s work.
