Dove designs its first refillable deodorant packaging solution
Dove has introduced its first refillable and reusable deodorant packaging to reduce plastic waste. The stainless-steel container is designed to be compact and durable that can withstand weights of up to 900lb, while the exterior uses 96% recycled plastic and is 100% recyclable. The container will be sold with a one-time purchase of deodorant, with users then refilling it. The company said the move would help to combat the 12 billion tonnes of plastic set to be discarded by 2050. Read more.
