Drink can recycling initiative recycles 100,000 cans from UK and Ireland festivals this summer
Every Can Counts successfully helped festival goers in the UK and Ireland recycle over 100,000 cans this summer, marking a 59% increase from the previous year. They deployed 62 ambassadors to major events like Download Festival and Latitude Festival, using recycling backpacks and themed bins to collect cans. Ambassadors also rewarded recyclers with festival-branded merchandise at some events. Additionally, they conducted a survey revealing a need for more recycling points in various public spaces.
